Google AdSense

Google AdSense is for web publishers who want to make more revenue from advertising on their site…

In a nutshell, you agree to put some banners and/or skyscrapers on your site that are relevant to your content, and Google will pay you on a per click basis. Pretty sweet deal, huh?

FindWhat.com Partnering with Espotting

June 18, 2003. The board of FINDWHAT.COM (NASDAQ: FWHT) announced today an agreement to merge with privately-owned ESPOTTING MEDIA INC. The merger will create an international leader in performance-based Internet marketing with combined operations in 11 countries across America and Europe

This merger will be interesting in how involved they allow advertisers to be in where their ads are placed. Will FindWhat.com advertisers be forced to advertise in Europe? I suspect not. But you never know for sure.
Either way, we won’t likely see any real changes until the end of the year.

Understanding how often to use a key phrase in a particular page can often give you some insight as to how a search engine ranks web pages. These are called “on the page” criteria. Now, engines like Google really look at “off the page” criteria as well. But that’s a whole other can of worms.
Here is a search page at Google that lists a bunch of places you can learn more about keyword density:
Google Search: keyword density
GRKda is one I’ve used before that is very comprehensive.
But check out the others on that search page. There are a wide variety of them.

Unethical SEO Companies - Preying On Your Inexperience

Sadly, unethical SEO companies are still out there selling contracts. There are two big areas of SEO that can inspire fraud — undefined work ownership and undefined services. Don’t let vague contracts and simple marketing packages lure you into an SEO relationship that’s ripe for abuse.
