Relevancy is the hottest topic on the search engines’ minds. Trying to put themselves into the shoes of their searchers is a very tricky thing to do. If a person types in ’seal’, they could be looking for the animal, the singer, or maybe the navy.
But what does a visitor mean if they type in just a letter, say… ‘A’. Well here are the number 1 results for every letter of the alphabet:
ChangeMedia: Google Alphabet
Incidentally, Yahoo scores 2 letters: ‘Y’ (naturally) and ‘I’. I would have given it to ICQ (they only get a top 5 position for their letter-sake).

I would like to touch on this a bit more, but I’ve got to run. Take a look at this article, if you have a chance, and read about it yourself.

Have a nice weekend.

People know Yahoo is going to do acquisitions, there’s no guesswork there, but the question is who and when,” said one source.
