PageRank

Definition:

PageRank is a rating system currently used by Google to show the importance of a specific web site. The higher the PageRank the more import the web site. PageRank is on a scale of 0-10. A PageRank of 0 typically means that a site has not yet been indexed by Google, the site has no other sites linking to it, or the site has been removed from the Google database.

Very few sites have a PageRank of 10.

The Google PageRank can be seen by using the Google Toolbar. The Toolbar can be downloaded from Google.
