In a recent survey entitled How Consumers Define ‘Value’ in 2009 and Beyond by Euro RSCG Worldwide, they found that more than 80% of respondents to their survey want companies to show a human face. They also found that, when compared to February 2008, 25% more consumers reported that they are buying based on quality rather then price.
So what does this mean for your company?
One way to really put a face to your company is the use of social media. From FaceBook fan pages, to Twitter “tweets”. The importance of using social media to advertise for your company in a way that makes it seem human is becoming extremely important.
