User generated reviews have really changed the world of buying.
I know I use them all the time.
I also know that people make buying decisions based on user generated reviews for all sorts of products and services.
I think businesses are a little afraid of this new power. And rightfully so.
These reviews are posted on third party sites where the business has no way to moderate them. Who knows what someone might say.
While the loss of control is scary for any business, these reviews are becoming a central part of doing business. So, my thought is… we might as well embrace them.
If you have ever worked with SageRock before we’d love if you would take a minute to share your experiences.
Here are a couple places where reviews have been started:
- SageRock at Insider Pages: http://bit.ly/SageRock-In
- SageRock at Citysearch: http://bit.ly/SageRock-City
- SageRock at Clickz iReviews: http://bit.ly/clickZ-SageRock
We have also put the “Review SageRock” page on the top of the navigation here at our blog. That page basically currently just links to the our Citysearch and Insider Pages listings.
I’d like a way to automatically import those into that “Review SageRock” page. But I haven’t figured out a way to do that, other than to just copy and paste what is there.
I think, though, that just linking to the pages is probably best. That way people will see that we haven’t had any say in the reviews.
As a disclaimer… if you are a vendor of SageRock, a family member, or a current or past employee, please mention that in the review. People should know the perspective people are coming from.
With that, happy reviewing!
