LinkedIn Endorsements – Are they too easy?

Have you been seeing a new rush of endorsements from LinkedIn recently?

If so, that’s probably because your friends and associates are trying the new LinkedIn Endorsements: Give Kudos with Just One Click.

That’s right. You can new easily endorse people you are connected to with one click.

There has been some discussion that maybe it will be too easy to endorse people. So the endorsements won’t be valuable.

This article pulls some quotes about people’s feelings on LinkedIn Endorsements: LinkedIn users give thumbs down to Endorsements – The Frontline – a blog from V3.co.uk

“As the feature stands, it’s really just eye-candy for Linkedin, perhaps catching the attention of an employer but quickly fading away under detailed scrutiny.”

But so far I feel like people are endorsing me accurately. And I feel they are endorsing people in my industry accurately.

So you go LinkedIn Endorsements!

I think this is a good idea and will be helpful to the Web community as a whole.

About Sage Lewis

My name is Sage Frederick Lewis. My kid's name is Indiana Sage Lewis. I am filled with love and passion for many things in life. The list of things I like about life is MUCH longer than the things I don't like about life. So, since you don't have all day reading about the mundane things I love (some of which, btw, include: Rocky, Indy, SageRock, movies, pizza, cheesecake, running, exploring.) here are the things I don't like: Driving Meetings Zucchini (I like it fine. I'm just allergic.) I think that's pretty much it. My Twitter account is: http://twitter.com/sagerock My YouTube Channel is: http://www.youtube.com/sagerock
