The best thing about not having a company as a client is that I can run all sorts of campaigns for them without the pesky “approval” process.
See that picture on the bottom there? That’s the Italian sub I had last night from Hanini’s.
They have this cool cell phone discount texting thing. So I got that sub for $4.99 because of a text they sent me. It’s normally $6, I think.
But oh my god! It is so worth it.
If you are in Akron you are doing your stomach a terrible disservice by not going here. My Hanini’s is the one on Brown St. It’s right near Infocision Stadium at the University of Akron.

Another reason for doing this is that I wanted to make the point that your best (and worst) customers are going to be your brand builders and campaign managers of the future.
We are seeing it already. But social media is going to continue to become a stronger influence in all our lives. And the people who will sell your services and products will be your customers. They will also tear you down if you suck.
This is coming. You can’t stop it. The only thing you can do is to be a brand guide. Know very clearly who you are and live that message. Then hopefully it will translate and your customers will sell the message for you.
