It is very important from a business perspective to really get to know your clients and try to understand not just how they do business, but what they do. Try to put yourself in their shoes if it helps, as this may help you get an idea of what they are going through when dealing with you (the vendor).

As far as point #5 goes, I believe that it is always important to put your best foot forward and speak in a professional and courteous manner. While it is okay to form friendly relationships with clients, you must still remember that they are the CLIENT and you are the VENDOR.</description>
